Moorspots | West Bay

West Bay is halfway up the western coast of Erikoussa. It could be an alternative anchorage if Porto Bay becomes untenable in strong winds from the east. You should avoid West Bay during prevailing NW winds as the swell sets straight into the bay and the small harbour. Small yachts can go bow-to the inside of the western breakwater-end with 1.5m depth. It’s possible to get on the end of the short quay extending into the harbour but the large number of local fishing caiques makes space very tight.
